Aged 28 months in brand new French oak puncheon (15.7% ABV), this wine has a nose like a campfire at dusk when smoke, black pepper, and cured meat hang in the air. On second hand, you may get leather notes with a side of bacon fat, black pepper, clove, and rosemary. Try pairing this with yer next mushroom risotto, grilled lamb or brisket and aged cheeses.
